What a great adventure scouting and creating a new itinerary in the Alps of Carnia, Slovenia and Austria to the east of Cortina. It was snowing or raining most of the week while riding and driving over passes and thru valleys to discover the best connections between the wonderful villages and lodgings we will enjoy on this tour. The Fall colors were spectacular and hospitality was exceptionally warm as Winter weather descended on the Alps. Here is the updated itinerary for our very special tour:

Generally...I am creating an itinerary that will feature new areas, variety of climbing and non-climbing routes, great food, and of course quiet roads. I am sure that there will be a few changes before I get it dialed, but it will be more focused on portions of Austria near the Slovenian border.
