How to choose a tour just right for you--
A Guide for Choosing a VeloSki Sports Cycling Vacation in Europe that is Just Right for You and Your Friends.
Accurately matching your priorities will reward you with an adventure cycling vacation you will remember and talk about for years. We recommend that you consider these questions when choosing your tour with us; please feel free to call or email us with any questions or concerns you have. We enjoy talking about our trips as much as we like leading them!
Step one: Assess your riding passion.
Are you the type of rider who rides year around? Or primarily during the warmer summer months?
We create routes geared for year 'round riders or enthusiastic summer riders.
Step two: Assess your desire to experience cultural events (museums, art, concerts, plays, etc.).
Our routes are primarily designed for cycling enthusiasts with overnight stays in historic towns, small villages and family run hotels or quaint countryside inns.
Step three: Determine group size and type of tour.
We limit the number of tour participants to comfortably support your cycling adventure; typical group size is 10-12 participants.
Step four: Do you want to meet new cycling enthusiasts or travel with a group of your friends.
We offer pre-planned itineraries or custom itineraries to suit your personal desires.
Step five: Decide which region you wish to explore.
For 2009, our pre-planned tours traverse the Alps from France to Austria, or we can design a custom tour for you. Choose from our wealth of experience in the Pyrenees, French Alps, Swiss Alps, Italian Alps, Dolomites, Tirolean Alps, Sicily, Dordogne, CinqueTerre, Liguria, Umbria, Tuscany or Provence.
Step six: Decide when you want to travel.
Our packaged tours are scheduled for the optimum in cycling enjoyment with respect to weather and tourist traffic.
Step seven: Contact us to reserve your space now.
If you don’t join us this year, then you will be another year older when you do.
